Erin Cormican

Practice Manager


Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from the NSWIT (now UTS) majoring in Scientific, Technical and Business Writing, Psychology and Communication.

She holds a Certificate III in Information Technology; VET Initial Teaching and Learning (VITAL) NCIT; National Competency Standard for Workplace Assessors; Food and Beverage Operations (RSA) and a Consultant's Course in Occupational Health and Safety.

Also holds a certificate in MYOB Advanced and is a registered Justice of Peace.

Technical experience

Erin began working for Lombard Finance Company as a Technical Writer when they were computerising their Money Market department. She wrote procedures for the various departments of the institution before joining CCH Australia as a Copywriter. She then freelanced in Sydney assisting businesses to computerise their accounting and operational procedures.

As Practice Manager for our firm for eighteen years, Erin attended to all recruitment functions, performed training for staff, provided financial management for the practice and set up and controlled the computer system and programs. She also prepared a wide range of written materials for clients including Occupational Health and Training Documentation, in-house procedure manuals and job descriptions for clients and set up our approved Quality Assurance Workpapers.

As a University and TAFE teacher Erin has vast experience in the preparation and delivery of Communication and information technology courses. She also developed and presented a Graduate Certificate in Management Communication for TAFE.
